Site Launch
The LBCMA web site was officially launched on May 9th at the Cedars School by the new Mayor for Leighton Buzzard, Cllr Mark Freeman. The site is designed to promote the professionalism of registered childminders within the LBCMA. The site is linked to other sites with well-known organizations such as the CIS and NCMA and also to a variety of search engines, so people looking at childcare can find it too. The site has been receiving correspondence on a variety of issues both from this country and from America. In its first month the website received over 150 visitors including 43 who listed their reason for visiting as looking for childcare.
