From September 2010, Ofsted (the Office for Standards in Education) will be responsible for the regulation of providers of childcare services and will be subcontracting inspections to Tribal.
So what does that mean for childminders?
From September 2010 Tribal will inspect. Ofsted remains the main point of contact for general equieries about registration, inspection, compliance, enforcement, complaints, fees and other enquiries relating to early years provision
How will the inspection change?
You are unlikely to notice a big difference between your last inspection and your first Tribal inspection.
