Fundraising
The LBCMA regularly fundraises in order to maintain its services as it is a voluntary organisation. In the past we have held raffles, cake stalls, held activities at the local Pre School Learning Alliance picnic in the park and applied and received a variety of grants from other organisations.
Picnic in the Park
This years focus was birthdays and celebrations as was the Preschool Learning Alliances 40th birthday. We sold playdough, and a range of toys and books, as well as playing guess the dolls name. In total we raised £108.60. This was an excellent fund raising opportunity for our group enabling us to raise money towards the children's Christmas party and group running expenses. It was defiantly a party not to be missed.
Amazon Associates
We have a wide selection of childcare, children's books, reference books, and multicultural books which you can buy online through our Amazon Associates scheme, we earn a commission from Amazon for each book you buy, which will help with our fundraising. So far visitors have brought over £300 earning us 5-10% commission on this, thank you for the support. This quater you have ordered 13 books through Amazon. Favourites have been NVQ 3 Childcare and Education, Student handbook and workbook. You can visit our bookshop to see the othe books available.
Messy Morning
The messy morning raised £40.00 and everyone had lots of messy fun.
