Easter

Chocolate Easter Nests

What you will need:

What you need to do:

  1. First fasten a sheet of non-stick baking paper (with butter at each corner) to a flat tray or baking sheet.
  2. Put the chocolate and butter (or marg) into a roomy bowl.
  3. Melt in a microwave or over a pan of simmering water.
  4. Do not allow the mixture to get too hot. Stir in the crushed shredded wheat.
  5. When all the shreds are covered in chocolate, take a teaspoon and spoon out little mounds straight on to the non-stick paper.
  6. Shape each mound roughly into a nest. Drop three eggs into each nest while the chocolate is still wet.
  7. Allow to cool, then store in a tin until needed.
